Job Description
We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Lead to oversee financial operations, maintain compliance with U.S. regulations, and provide valuable insights for business growth. This position involves full-cycle accounting management, including general bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, tax compliance, tax returns, and company structuring.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience working with international clients, particularly companies expanding into the U.S. This role requires a combination of technical accounting expertise, client advisory skills, and leadership capabilities to support business development and long-term financial planning.
As the company continues to grow, this position will have the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and managing an accounting team.

Responsibilities and Duties
Client Financial Management
- Serve as a trusted financial advisor for clients, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable (A/P), and accounts receivable (A/R), ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and financial regulations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and tax-related documentation, providing actionable insights to help clients make informed decisions.
- Assist businesses in company formation and structuring, ensuring a smooth financial setup.
Tax & Compliance
- Ensure tax filings, tax returns, and regulatory compliance are met for U.S.-based clients, advising on cross-border tax strategies and best practices.
- Prepare, review, and file business and corporate tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to U.S. tax laws.
- Support clients in navigating international financial transactions and compliance with both U.S. and foreign regulations.
- Guide businesses in financial structuring and tax optimization, helping them minimize liabilities while staying fully compliant.
Strategic Growth & Leadership
- Work closely with clients to identify opportunities for financial efficiency and business expansion.
- Play a key role in advising companies entering the U.S. market, providing tailored financial solutions.
- As the company scales, participate in hiring, training, and leading a growing team of finance professionals.
Internal Controls & Financial Operations
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls to ensure the highest standards of financial integrity.
- Establish budgeting and forecasting processes for both clients and internal operations.
- Implement best practices to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and business performance tracking.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) – must be fluent in both languages.
- Ability to manage client relationships and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Proficiency in tax compliance, tax returns, company structuring, and regulatory guidance.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a focus on building and managing high-performing teams.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering error-free financial work.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to align financial planning with business objectives.
Education / Professional Experience
- Strong background in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting, with at least 8+ years of experience in the field.
- Experience with international transactions, particularly between Mexico and the U.S, with at least 5+ years of experience in the field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple clients and priorities.
- Familiarity with U.S. and international financial regulations, particularly for companies expanding operations in the U.S.
