Work Location
- Field-based position.
- This is a field-based role that requires frequent travel to different project sites across the state.
- Candidates located in Florida are preferred.
Work Schedule
- 50 to 55 hours per week, 6 days a week
Travel
- Frequent travel required, 3 to 4 weeks at a time on the road followed by a week at home.
- Candidates located in Florida will return home daily.

Job Summary
Join our client's dynamic estimating and surveying team as a Survey Technician. This role involves supporting various surveying activities and ensuring accurate data collection and analysis on-site. The position offers a mix of office-based and fieldwork, requiring frequent travel to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities and Duties
- This is a field-based, statewide traveling role — you’ll be working on-site at various golf course projects throughout the state.
- Conduct on-site surveys and data collection for golf course construction projects
- Operate Trimble GPS systems (R10 with TSC7 – training provided)
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson to prepare and analyze survey data (training provided)
- Analyze and interpret survey data to support project planning and execution
- Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate project assessments
- Maintain detailed records of survey data and project progress
- Travel extensively to various project sites across the U.S.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Carlson for data analysis and project planning
- Trimble GPS systems experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members
Education / Professional Experience
- Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar education background
- 1-3 years of experience in surveying or a related field preferred
- Experience in construction or golf course projects is a plus
Licenses / Certifications
- AutoCAD training or knowledge is preferred
