Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee accounting operations at their Ontario, California headquarters. The role involves managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and collaborating with various teams to maintain accurate financial records. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory accounting
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare financial statements and internal reports
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to maintain accurate inventory records
  • Coordinate with external auditors and assist with tax preparation and filings
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, if applicable

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Strong understanding of AR, AP, GL, and inventory management
  • Experience with Business Edge ERP software preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting tools
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Education / Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
  • Industry experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus.
