Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and certified Senior Architect – SAP SuccessFactors Compensation & Benefits to lead the solution design and implementation of compensation planning, variable pay, and benefits management for enterprise clients. This role will play a pivotal part in translating business requirements into scalable HCM solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices, regulatory compliance, and enterprise IT standards. Prior experience in the utilities sector is a strong plus.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the architecture and delivery of SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Benefits modules.
  • Engage with HR and IT leadership to assess and design compensation strategies.
  • Define solution architecture, integration touchpoints, and security frameworks.
  • Oversee configuration, implementation, and testing of SuccessFactors modules.
  • Provide governance over system enhancements and change control processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and process optimization.
  • Mentor and guide technical consultants and offshore teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

  • SAP HCM.
  • SuccessFactors Compensation & Benefits.
  • SAP Cloud Platform Extensions.
  • EC APIs.
  • Proficient in cross-module integration with Employee Central, Payroll, and Performance & Goals.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Compensation dashboards and insights.

Education / Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, HR Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of overall SAP HCM experience required.
  • 5+ years in SuccessFactors Compensation & Benefits required.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing Compensation Planning, Budgeting, Pay Matrix, and Total Rewards required.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Extensions, EC APIs, and reporting tools (Advanced Reporting, Ad Hoc Reports, etc.) required.
  • Experience with regulatory and unionized pay structures required, ideally within the utilities or energy sector.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Benefits module and integrations with third-party benefits platforms required.
  • Utilities industry experience involving regulated compensation models or complex union arrangements.

Licenses / Certifications

  • SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and Variable Pay Certification required.
